There are a number of websites that charge for membership and offer advice based on various interests such as overall fitness or specific areas. What are the best of these?

I am actually a co-founder of a website called Interfit (www.theinterfit.com) where users recommend and share their workouts, nutrition, and supplements to help each other stay motivated and informed. The site is currently in development but we are accepting requests for invitations to our beta program which should be launching soon.

Personally speaking, I’d rather not dish out money on memberships to sites which may or may not be able to cater to me. Throughout the years I have been finding out how to exercise and eat as well as what supplements to take from friends and other like-minded people for free… and it has worked.

Not to toot my own horn or anything but I transformed from being an obese kid to a fit and relatively strong individual by seeking the advice of those who knew more than me and had experiences I could relate to. Now I am a source of information for friends and people I see at the gym as they have either seen me change over the years or deem me a credible source based on my appearance and/or performance.

What I’m getting at is that you just have to sync up with the right people, whether friends, people that go to your gym, or those you relate to with similar interests/goals/hurdles to learn more. By syncing up with these people you end up developing new relationships and a sense of accountability as well which serves to reinforce your initial goals of mental, physical and social health and wellness. I hope this helps a bit! We’re really hoping that people like you (and me) will benefit from a service like Interfit!
